Happy Birthday Levenshulme Arcadia! Celebrate with Bhangra, Cake and Circus Fun

First Birthday Party For Levenshulme Arcadia

Well, that was a quick year…and after a few minor teething problems, there’s no doubt that Levenshulme Arcadia has settled in to the area very nicely. It’s proving to be a very popular meeting place for the young and old and everyone in between! The Library is well used and packed with books, some even written by Levenshulme High Schools own writer’s group! The swimming pools have sessions for a variety of needs and the multiple exercise classes fill up quickly too. It could probably be a 24 hour gym and it’d still be bustling, such is the need for a big sports centre and learning hub.

A Fun Day of Celebration for Arcadia

On Saturday the 18th of Feb at 12pm Arcadia are having a celebration of their achievements one year on. A lot of listening to the neighbourhood and developing some great practices for local people have ensured it’s a real community asset and probably the envy of quite a few other suburbs. It’s a bonus that it sits so prominently on our high street and is open until 10pm most evenings, lighting up Stockport Road.

Face Painting and A Charity Tombola is on the cards as well.

Take the opportunity to go along and get involved, something fun and free to do with the children locally. It promises to be a great first birthday party! All Welcome.
