Levenshulme Night Market Goes Monthly in 2017 With A St Patrick’s Day Special
Super exciting news to keep the winter blues away for residents of Levenshulme and further afield in Manchester. 2017 is already proving a great year for evening pursuits in Levy, with the new Secret Diner launched at Fred’s Ale House by Levy Market regular Nasi Lemak at the turn of this year and the up an coming Levenshulme Gin Festival at The Klondyke.
Now we can reveal that Levenshulme Market is set to hold its infamous quarterly ‘night market’ once a month from 2017 onwards.
As of March 2017, the glorious Levenshulme Market returns to the Levy Station Car Park for its regular Saturday 10am -4pm 3 times a month, but the exciting news is that we will now have a once monthly NIGHT MARKET to add to our emerging night time economy and general positive vibes in the evenings. The Night Market will be from 5pm – 9pm and (N.B. The following Saturday will have no day market to allow recovery of the traders! This is mega news for the suburb.)
When Is The First Monthly Night Market?
The New Monthly Night Markets will be on the 3rd Friday of the month with the first on St Patrick’s Day celebrations. How very appropriate for County Levenshulme – Yipee.
Friday the 17th of March will see the much loved and always well attended Quarterly market’s leap into a monthly affair and it promises to deliver a welcome programme of unique events and entertainment throughout the year!
What Should Punters Expect?
Christine Felton, Levenshulme’s dedicated Market Manager is super thrilled to announce the news. She says;
“Our Friday Night Markets, usually held four times a year, are always hugely well attended and there’s always a fabulous party atmosphere. We thought – why not hold them every month?
It’s a great chance for the Levenshulme community to get together and let their hair down while enjoying some of Manchester’s best street food and drinks from our brilliant pop-up bar, run by local eatery The Buttery. The Levy Market team have lots of exciting plans in store for each one, so watch this space!”
Check Levenshulme Market’s website for more detail about the event which will be posted shortly, but for the time being, get excited for plenty of Friday evening shenanigans.
