Taste Africa – A Continent of Music and Food in Levenshulme
Marking the launch of Levenshulme’s very own Food and Drink Festival this year – Taste Africa promises to bring some very colourful sounds and flavours to our vibrant South Manchester suburb.
Make sure you keep Friday the 12th of June free so you can behold the magical sounds of these three world renowned, UK based artists all represented by Lingua Franca World Music

African dancefloor tracks from DJ Mayeva
Headlining will be Zimbabwean artist Zee Guveya and The Heritage Survival Band , who have performed at WOMAD, Bestival and for Black History Month at The Houses of Parliament
A Celebration of African Cuisine
Not to disappoint on the food front, there will be a special gourmet African buffet provided for all ticket holders to celebrate the flavours of Africa and the official launch of FADFEST 2015.
It all sounds good enough to eat! We implore you to get your best madiba shirts on and dance on down to The Klondyke for some African party vibes.
