New Leaf Counselling

I am a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor and am a Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). My practice is called New Leaf Counselling.

I am committed to providing a confidential, safe, non-judgmental environment for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, experiences and perceptions, and to work through any situations that are affecting your life. I will provide you with the space and freedom to find your own way of dealing with issues in your life. I have personally benefitted from having counselling and feel privileged to have witnessed the positive effects of counselling in the clients with whom I have worked with.

Will counselling help me?
Counselling is helpful if you do not feel listened to and understood by people in your life and if you want to talk about an issue with someone who is non-judgemental and is not associated with the situation.

I have experience in working with a variety of issues including: anxiety, depression, stress, bereavement, relationship issues (affairs, betrayals, divorce, family issues, issues with parents, problems with children), eating disorders, domestic abuse (emotional, physical and sexual abuse),  addictions and coping with the challenges of everyday life. Many of these issues are interlinked and it may feel overwhelming if you are experiencing a multitude of emotions and difficult events in life. Talking about these issues in our counselling sessions will help the situations in your life feel more managable.
